Central New York’s Spay Neuter Assistance Program (CNY SNAP) is a grassroots, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, established in 2005 and run entirely by volunteers.
Our mission is to address the over-population of cats and dogs in our community by providing low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services at our bi-weekly clinics for low-income residents and caretakers of barn cat and feral cat colonies. Since our founding in 2005, we’ve successfully spayed/neutered more than 58,000 dogs and cats.
Additionally, we operate a cat and kitten adoption program at the PetSmart in DeWitt and our Cortland shelter. Before adoption, all cats are vaccinated and spayed/neutered.
Your support helps us continue making a positive impact on the well-being of animals in Central New York. Explore our website to discover various ways you can contribute and get involved, and please spay and neuter your pets!
