Central New York’s Spay Neuter Assistance Program (CNY SNAP) is a non-profit (c)(3), grassroots, all-volunteer organization founded in 2005. It is our mission to make a difference in our community by ending the over-population of cats and dogs through offering low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services at our bi-weekly clinics to low income residents, caretakers of barn cat and feral cat colonies. From 2005 through 2022, we have spayed/neutered over 58,000 dogs and cats. We also have active cat adoption programs through the PetSmart in Dewitt and at our Cortland shelter where cats are housed until space in the adoption programs is available. Cats are vaccinated and spayed/neutered before they are eligible for adoption.
Our success depends on your contributions and assistance! Explore our website to find ways to get involved and please spay and neuter your pets!
